About
Ben fell in love with theatre and the ability to build a tiny world on stage at a young age and became a regular in the drama club throughout middle and high school. They would go on to act and costume design productions later in college and eventually would lead them to stage managing and directing. Upon highschool graduation they attended Dutchess Community College with a major in Performance Arts. Their time completing their associates degree gave them the ability to explore their artistry and connect with other artists and teachers who impacted Ben greatly. This ignited Bens passion to tell real stories about real people and made by those people. They went on to attend Rider University where they studied Theatre Arts with a concentration in Acting and a Minor in Art Entertainment Industries Management, and was an artistic intern at Passage Theatre Company. During their time at Rider, Ben fostered their love for storytelling and creation, while finding a passion for new work and theatre for social change. Ben has been working as an Actor, Stage Manager, Teaching Artist and Arts Administrator since 2023 with a focus on queer centered art, new work, and play development. They are excited for the next journey and the next story.
